With virtually year-round sunshine, Aruba is a sun worshipper’s delight. The topography is quite unique with the South and West Coasts boasting pristine white beaches, the North- east Coast rugged and wild and the desert-like interior with cacti and dramatic rock formations.
Aruba’s official language is Dutch but Arubans are fluent in several languages including English and their own Papiamento–an eclectic mixture of Spanish, Dutch and Portuguese. You’ll be warmly greeted in Aruba by “Bombini” which means welcome.
Watersports, beautiful beaches, golf, gambling, diverse dining and excellent nightlife can all be found on the island of Aruba. And don’t forget the shopping, as Aruba is the place to shop for luxury and imported items or browse in the local marketplace for Aruban art and handcrafts. |
